Since taking office in January 2021, I have been hard at work delivering results for the people of New York’s 2nd District. I’m proud to serve as Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, where I led the fight to secure permanent funding for the World Trade Center Health Program, and as Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Capital Markets on the House Committee on Financial Services, where I have led the fight to grow our economy and deliver real tax relief for Long Island families, including lifting the SALT cap from $10,000 to $40,000.
